Been awhile

Since I last posted. Life has gotten hectic but we are dealing. Aileen turned 9 yesterday. I can't believe my girl is 9! Where did the time go? Will is being deployed. He has been assigned a carrier and will be leaving for 3 weeks in 12 days. I am doing ok considering this is the first time we have been apart since we got married.

Tank Baby

Aiden had his 6 month check up yesterday. Boy is he a tank. 19 lbs 3 ounces and 28 inches! He had 2 shots, one in each leg. Poor baby! He flirted with the doctor the whole time and he as at the 9 month mark developmentally. Today he decided to walk across the bed while holding my fingers. Could have knocked me over with a feather. Will was there too and the look on his face was priceless. Total shock that his boy was trying to walk before he was crawling. There was also a third tooth discovered. I almost ,missed it because it is not one of the teeth that come in first. No, he decided to cut a molar!!!!! No wonder he has been in constant pissy mode. Cheeky man is healthy, bright, and a tank!

First Day of School

*SOB* My baby girl started Kindergarten today. I managed to hold it together for the most part. Will got teary at the bus stop though LOL. She had a great day and made a kissing hand in case I needed kisses from her during the day when she is gone. Aileen was very nervous this morning but came home thrilled this afternoon. 2 of her old classmates are with her so that helps. They are testing her for the gifted program in October. Thank god because she can whip her homework out (I am not exaggerating here) under 5 minutes!!!! And have all the answers right. Anyway here are some pictures of my princesses on there first day of school!

Fun in the sun

My friend Kelley came down from New York this weekend with her fiancee, Matt (who is a total sweet heart) and her 2 boys. We had a blast!!! We spent Saturday at the beach and Kelley, Will, and I are crispy like bacon (Matt was smart and kept a shirt on so all that got burnt on him was his neck and face). Sunday we went to the Army Transportation museum at Ft. Eustis and followed some of the civil war routes. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun. My abs still hurt from laughing! Kelley tried to steal Aiden, like I used to try to steal Noah and Aiden loved playing with Matt and Kelley! Anyway here are some pics from our weekend! And yes, finally one of me!
