Welcome Fall~

Yipee! It is the best time of the year. The bugs are dying, the leaves are changing, I don't walk out the door and get covered in sweat and the kids are back in school! We went to Taylor Farms this weekend. We petted some goats, went on a hayride, Aiden ate a pumpkin like it was an apple, Aiden tried to hijack the tractor... Oh yeah, it was a whole lot of fun keeping him under control.

They are coming to take me away. Please

Really, I do have the good intentions of posting more but the kids and husband and chores and pets and cars don't allow the time. In a day I do at least 2 loads of dishes, 4 loads of laundry, yell "Aiden, NO" at least a dozen, change 3 diapers, dress 5 people, feed 6 people and the dog, and this is all before noon! Now on a good day both boys will nap at the same time and I can drink myself into a stupor *kidding* and maybe catch one show of the 36 on the DVR. Then it is feeding, changing, cooking, yelling, reading, arithmetic, and all the other stuff that goes into the end of my day. When Fletcher finally lets me go to bed at 11 pm, I pass out. I don't fall asleep, I die. Then at 4 am it starts all over again. I need a nanny!

Neptune Festival and Halloween

This weekend was a busy one in our household. Friday was payday so we had to brave the commissary and make our measly military pay stretch in ways God never intended. Saturday was the Neptune festival which is Virginia Beach's official end of summer celebration when the locals take back the beach. Unfortunately all 1. Something million of us in the Hampton Roads area seemed to go. There is a phenomenal sand sculpting contest every year and I am sharing some of those. And also a picture of Aiden and Jorja (our next door neighbor's daughter and Aiden's girl friend) traveling in style in the safari wagon we bought when we learned I was pregnant with Fletcher.

After the festival we came home and decorated for Halloween with Deanna, Nate and there family. We share a yard and at times a brain so it worked out well. We have a very interesting graveyard! As soon as that was done it was off to bowl.

Today Will went golfing with Nate and I cleaned the house and decorated the inside. My Bears are the Sunday night game and are showing Seattle what a defense and an offence look like so I am thrilled. Oh and I lost my pants in the middle of the Navy Exchange parking lot. I don't know if I should be thrilled that I am to the point that my pants are falling off or mortified that at least a dozen people saw me in my panties with my jeans around my ankles?

Fletcher has started sleeping from 10 to 6 again. We are hoping that this sticks. He is in the crib sharing a room with Aiden and it is working better then we could have ever asked or hoped for. His starts physical therapy for his neck Tuesday. Enjoy the pics and I hope to share more soon!
