Insanity at its best

The past few weeks have been crazy around here. I only have a few minutes as I took on a second job as babysitter for Jorja during the day (I know, I know, I am insane), so here are the highlights.

Aileen had her appliance removed because it was too small for her mouth and it kept popping off. She gets the new one in on Thursday.

Lauren needs to have her hearing tested again as she seems to not hear anything again.

Aiden is still my terror. He climbed his bog yard toy the other day and jumped the fence. The toy was relocated.

Fletcher is trying so hard to walk. He has the cruising stuff down but he is still like Bambi on ice when it comes to free standing!

Will's graduation was fantastic. Remind me to limit alcohol consumption for all when family is all together.

Me, well showing that you are more then capable to do a job and do it well will get you called in on your days off. I worked 53 hours in 6 days and this is supposed to be a part time gig. My feet, legs, and back are killing me but I love the job :0) Here are some pics and I will try to make time for this a little more often :0)

Houston we have lift off

Since Saturday my wonderfully stationary child has decided he has had enough of this baby nonsense. He is now crawling, pulling himself up on things, holding his own bottle, and drinking from a cup. It is official folks, I will be committed in the next few weeks.

On a better note, I am back to contributing to the nations work force. That is right peoples, I have a job. I will be office personnel and lead cashier at food lion part time. I may go full time depending on how well the rest of the family handles the change. Let me rephrase that, it will depend on how Will handles it. The girls are excited for more daddy time. I know the boys will be confused as to why mommy isn't helping to put them to bed but I think they will get used to it rather quickly. Will is terrified as this is the first time since we have had the boys that I have been working so he has never not had me there to help him out. On the positive side, his husband (Nate) will be right next door to help him out. Nate is in the same situation as Deanna works nights as well. I start on Sunday. Yippee!

Patience

is one of my virtues when it comes to the kids. When it comes to everything else, I am the most impatient person you will meet. Well Will and I applied for a consolidation loan yesterday and the computer says it is still in review (I am hoping and praying that "in review" is a good sign). I have a job interview today. I need the time away from the house and well to be frank, we need the money. Aileen's braces have pushed us to where we have no extra funds and with Will's student loans coming due in a few months, well I'd rather work opposite of Will then eat ramen or tell the kids "we don't have the money for that". Wish us luck on both endeavors. If I get this job, Will's life is going to get a lot more interesting!
