I'm Old Enough to Drive...... At 1
So today was a very busy day! We knew that the truck was having issues with the battery, however never knew how bad it was till today. I decided to take the battery to be charged and find out how well it would hold a charge. Boy was that a mistake!!! While I was going to pick up the battery, my son (Fletcher) decided to play in the truck. From what I gathered, this is what went through is mind:Cool, I get to play in mommy's truck again. La De Da, Voom Voom, OH LOOK, KEYS!!! Cool. Lets see, 7-11 is that way. Humm, yup, I think this is the key mommy and daddy use. Lets try... Cool, it fit. Now what is next?? Oh, turn the key!!!! Nope no power. That's ok! 7-11 is only right there....... Ok, pull this stick and move down. That looks right..... YES!!! I did it. Here we go moving back down the drive way. Wonder how far mommy will let me get!!! Ooops! Not far enough, mommy caught me. Quick sis, where is the gas??? Stop screaming for mommy, we'll be right back. Never mind, we are already on the street. Hi mommy, sis said she wanted a slurpee. Well be right back! What do mean move. Oh, you want to go too. Come on! Wait.. (bump) Speed bump. Wonder when they put that in. Well, its about time. MOMMY, why did you stop us? We were making great time!!!! What do you mean I am too young to drive, I am a whole 1 Years Old. No, no inside, 7-11. Fine you win. Oh no, better run, she has the phone and I bet she is calling daddy.Yes, Fletcher did get the truck out of the drive way and on the street without a battery. Go figure. Well, I got the new battery after taking Morgan to work, and now the truck starts good. In the words of my text to Morgan; The Truck Lives!!!! Well, stay tuned for more to follow.
