Insanity, party of 6....
I really don't know how we go from day to day with our insanity intact. A lot has changed over the past few months so I will give the Cliff Notes Version and you can decide for yourself. Around Thanksgiving I was given the opportunity to become a full time book keeper at another Bloom store. I took it, knowing full well that I was walking into a mess and expected to clean it up. So after 7 weeks of working 50 or so hours a week, I finally had my first day off since Thanksgiving on Friday. It has been a lot of hard work and a ton of patience but I have managed to get things where they needed to start to get all the issues corrected. Around the same time Will was given the opportunity to become supervisor at work as well. The only glitch was that is was for mid shift (10pm to 6am). After a lot of conversations and a WHOLE lot of bitching from me, he took it. So know both of us work 40 hours plus a week on completely opposite schedules. We see each other in passing as he is getting home when I leave for work and goes to bed when I get home. It sucks but we are doing our best to make it work. Will also had to opportunity to go to Wisconsin for the NFC Championship game. He went with my dad (as he is a Giant fan and apparently it is appropriate to take a member of the opposing team with you). They both had a blast and of course Will is still getting crap for that pretty interception Brett Farve threw. In happy news for me. I bowled my first 400 series tonight!!!! I am so proud of me!
The kids are all well. Aileen has applied to most of the gifted middle schools in the area (most students are only allowed to apply to one) and has been selected for all city chorus. She demands that we get her physical done for sports so she can try out for the football team. And she has written her own version of high school musical. There is no slowing that child down.
Lauren is still doing well in school. I just wish we knew how to correct her behavior at home. We will get thru it though! She has dance auditions later in the year of the gifted "art" students. I guess she shows coordination at school rather then home :0)
Aiden is going to be 3 in a few weeks. I can't believe how time has just flown by. He is completely potty trained all on his own. His favorite thing right now is to be naked at all times. Does not matter where when or temp, he wants to be naked. I am going to be arrested for allowing my son to strip in public. He likes to challenge Will by saying "you want a piece of me"? It is adorable and Lord help anyone who gets in the way of his mommy. He is very protective of me to the point where if Will kisses me in front of him, he will push Will away yelling "GET OFF MY MOMMY".
Fletcher is well odd. He loves to hit, pinch, and bite....EVERYTHING. We are not sure if this is a phase or something that we will have to have him "researched" for. But it is getting to be my bed time. I will get better at writing and posting pictures as this maybe the only way to communicate with the outside world for the moment! For now, here are some pictures from Will in Green Bay!
