That is how many stairs (well that is how many I counted before I realized that this was information I didn't necessarily want to have, ignorance is bliss in this matter) we climbed at the Cape Henry Lighthouse yesterday. Aiden climbed them all like a champ but was carried back down as I could see him take a spiral header down those old iron steps. Fletcher cried the whole time as he was a little toasty and the girls wanted to keep going up and down.
Then we got the bright idea of "Let's go check out the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel" I wish someone would have warned us that we were going to have sticker shock on that little side trip. $12 ONE WAY!!!! It was a very neat trip but not something I want to pay $24 for.

Ah. Cute family photo! Glad to see you are having a fun time :)
So are you saying you got your exercise?...lol
Ah but it's only $24 if you don't go back on the same day. If you come back within 24 hours, you only have to pay $5 to come back across. And if you don't go out of the other side and just stop at the viewing area, it's just $12. LOL We've done it several times on lazy Sundays.
